We support Junior’s and truly enjoy selling to them. We do make great deals on calves. Here are a couple of examples. We have watched Wendy and Sara Ringhouse from their first show in 4-H several years ago. They have purchased hfrs in the past and used them with success in their breeding program. Wendy has purchased Market Steers as calves in 2005 and 2006. She was able to earn blues in FFA Skagit Fair Market sale in 2006 and Junior Livestock Market sale in 2007. She already has her eye on a 2007 steer calf. Wendy was Reserve Overall Beef Showmanship for FFA in Skagit Fair 2007. Quincy Gunderson purchased two Registered Hereford heifers as calves in 2005 from our farm. JJL Sheba and JJL Raven. She showed them in several fairs during the summer of 2006. Below are her top ribbons and trophies she won showing just in 4-H! She then purchased another calf, JJL Sara in the fall of 2006. She was part of Quincy’s 2007 show string. She won several Hereford Breed Type Championships/Reserve Championships with her also. Quincy is another great show woman. In fact she won Overall Beef Showmanship at Evergreen Fair for 4-H in 2007 and was in the Large Animal Round Robin. |
